Corporate Social Responsibility Policies

PT Sugih Energy, Tbk., ("the Company") is committed, including but not limited to the Company's subsidiaries, to operate in a socially responsible manner by:

  • Ensuring the health and safety of our employees and contractors.
  • Preserving and protecting the environment in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
  • Cultivating a harmonious relationship with local communities and key stakeholders.

The Company recognizes that operating along with communities is a privilege. We manage our business in a way that promotes social, environmental and economic benefits for our key stakeholders. We believe that our efforts to build a competitive workforce, enhance health and wellbeing, and protect the environment benefit both the Company and the communities where we operate.

 

Health and Safety

The Company is committed with the vision of "Zero Harm" whereby "no one gets hurt and nothing gets harmed" and consequently, the HSE performance is a critical element of our operational target. Therefore, the Company is committed, to maintaining robust HSE policies, and cultivating an organizational culture committed to superior HSE performance.

It is therefore the salient policies of the Company, and far as is reasonably practicable, to:

  • Implement and maintain HSE management systems to prevent accidents, occupational injuries, illnesses and environmental incidence.
  • Meet or exceed compliance with all applicable HSE laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the provision and maintenance of a safe work environment, safe equipment and work procedures.
  • Foster a culture where all employees and contractors are held accountable for following all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide appropriate training and supervision to maintain the competence levels of all employees to safely perform their respective responsibilities.
  • Promote the development of a positive Health and Safety culture.
  • Ensure timely investigation and prompt reporting of all HSE related incidents.
  • Conduct regular reviews of and updates to the Company's Policies and Procedures.

 

Environmental Protection

Concern for the environment is of utmost importance to the Company where our policy is to minimize potential environmental impact by striving to:

  • Protect the natural environment.
  • Implement a cost effective waste and emissions management programs to prevent and control pollution.
  • Manage, monitor and communicate our environmental protection performance.
  • Integrate environmental considerations into all our business processes and strive for continuous improvement.

 

Ethics and Principles

Our employees share a mutual responsibility for ensuring that we conduct our relationships with all of our stakeholders with the highest standards of integrity, and professionalism. All of the Company's employees and contractors are, therefore, required to:

  • Conduct business in an open, honest, and ethical manner and maintain the highest standards of integrity.
  • Through corporate governance measure, audit and publicly report our performance on CSR programs.

 

Anti Bribery & Corruption

The Company preserves zero tolerance approach with respect to its Anti-bribery and Corruption policy, procedures and implementation and complies with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia. It is the responsibility of all of our employees to ensure that none of businesses engage in practices which infringe legal or regulatory requirements.

Any employee engaging in business practices that infringe legal or regulatory requirements may be subject to disciplinary action, which may lead to dismissal and may face personal criminal or civil liability. It is the responsibility of all of its employees to ensure that they report any infringement or suspected infringement of legal or regulatory requirements to the management of the Company.

We continually focus on listening and learning from the feedback we receive, and engaging the communities where we operate, and our aim has been to follow a collaborative approach to our local communities initiatives by:
